Sewer Plans
Sewer plans can for public or private sector. In the private sector, the sewer lines are depicted from the building to the connection point on the property. ABS or PVC are the most common materials used to construct the pipes. To connect to a public sewer line, the house connection normally begins at the property line, according to the Public Works Standard. To implement a new public sewer plan, it’s necessary to expand or replace an existing one. Porcelain-based vitrified clay is commonly used in public sewers. If the new development contributes enough flow and the public sewer system is appropriate in size and capacity, new or additional sewer pipes can be installed. Public works plans, specifications, regulations, and practices must be adhered to avoid fines and penalties.
